Martina Behr is Full Professor of Interpreting Studies at the Institute for Translation Studies at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. She received her PhD in interpreting studies from the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz, Germany, in 2012 and her Habilitation from the same university in 2019. Her current research focuses on conference interpreting as a dynamic system, on cognitive load in simultaneous interpreting and on theory-based approaches to teaching conference interpreting.
