Izabela Dąbrowska, PhD. Her doctorate research was devoted to the 19-th century British political system and resulted in the publication of several articles devoted to the British politics, social and cultural issues as well as the monograph Arystokraci w rządach XIX-wiecznej Wielkiej Brytanii (2011). Presently, her interests are focused on introducing methods and insights into interpreting multimodal texts, which build up intercultural and intra cultural competence.
