Małgorzata Kołacz-Chmiel – PhD with habilitation, researcher at the Institute of Historyof the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. Her scientifi c interest is focusedon the socio-economic history of villages in the late Middle Ages and early modern times,with particular emphasis on the place of women in the family and peasant community.Her second area of research is the editing of historical sources. She has published twomonographs: Społeczności chłopskie ziemi chełmskiej w późnym średniowieczu (Lublin 2009),and Mulier honesta i laboriosa. Kobieta w rodzinie chłopskiej późnośredniowiecznej Małopolski(Lublin 2018).
