Researcher of the Centre for European Policy and Regional Development (CEPRED) of the University of Crete and member of the Hellenic Association of Political Scientists (HAPSc). He graduated from the Hellenic Armed Forces Academy in 2003. In 2011 he graduated from the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Sciences and Engineering, of the University of Crete. In 2013 he finished his Masters in ΄΄Political Analysis of Public and European Policies΄΄ at the Department of Political Science of the University of Crete. He holds a PhD in international Relations (specialization in Euro-Mediterranean relations), from the department of Political Science of the University of Crete (2021), his PhD Thesis is : “The Greece - Turkey dispute in the Aegean. Τhe ICJ and ITLOS sea border delimitation cases between other countries. Similarities and differences in a comparative perspective”. His research interests and his fields of expertise concerning political science are : Political and economic relations in the Mediterranean, International law and the law of the sea and its application to interstate relations of the Mediterranean countries as well as the delimitation of the Exclusive Economic Zone between Greece and Turkey. His research interests and his fields of expertise concerning computer science are Artificial Intelligence, Correctness of logic programs using proof schemes, the Ramification Problem in Temporal Databases, Data Science - Data Management and Visualization. He also has 5 Scientific Publications in Scientific Journals, Conference Proceedings and Edited Volumes, focusing on the abovementioned research fields.
