Kilka uwag na temat Commentarii in Ciceronis Somnium Scipionis Makrobiusza Ambrosiusza Teodozjusza

Abstract

The article presents several selected threads appearing in the work of Macrobius entitled Commentarii in Ciceronis Somnium Scipionis. This work, despite the fact that it does not have the character of an original work, but on the contrary – it has a compilatory character, has become one of the important sources that penetrated the ideas of ancient philosophy until the Middle Ages. Among the wealth of ideas contained in this work, issues related to the understanding of philosophy, the relation of philosophy and mythology, the topos of the “golden chain of Homer’s existence” and the classification of dreams were selected.
