Trends in Development of E-Government in the Context of Social Behaviour in Relation to Privacy

Abstract

The paper presents contemporary approach to the privacy protection in the European Union and Poland. It discusses the concept of citizens’ privacy protection in the scope of e-services. The paper includes results of the survey on the approach to privacy of people using Internet portals. In summary, the author provides recommendations and conclusions about the direction of the development of public e-services in reference to current trends and patterns in citizens’ private lives.
